“BIG” Big Rain Day(s)

Not only did we get our long-awaited Big Rain Day …

We got two in a row.

This calendar charts shows a history
of Big Rain Days (i.e. black drops)
for south Florida

And it looks like a third consecutive is happening now.

Big Cypress Nat’l Preserve has received 14 inches of rain this June.

And it’s only the 8th!

The long-term June (i.e. all 30 days) average is around 9 inches.

The June record is 20 inches (2005).
