Of the swamp’s many optical illusions,
Perhaps its most beguiling is its old “smoke and mirrors” trick of submerging the cumulus clouds – floating above at, say, a thousand feet – down into its water (only a few inches deep).
Or at least that’s how it appears 500 feet
up in the sky, looking down:

As the land passes by.
It is a hypnotic view.
