Sweetwater didn’t get all that high this summer …
But it hasn’t dropped much since then either.
Compare that to last spring when it plunged to a record low.
It was an infrequent – and shocking – sight to see Sweetwater go bone dry …
Sort of sad really.
Usually it’s one of the dry seasons deepest spots –
The swamp’s hydrological “last hurrah” of sorts.
And always home to a floating gator or two …
We double checked before we crawled through the culverts.
