Dry season “oven” on brink of heating up

This graph shows weekly rainfall for Big Cypress Nat’l Preserve in inches.  The blue curve shows the 7-day running rainfall for the 729,000 acre preserve as expressed as a 7-day running average.  The background color coding shows the bounds of the summer rainy season (light blue) and the winter dry season (red).  The dry season is further subdivided to differentiate between times of low ET (Dec-Feb) and times of rising ET (Mar-May).  We are currently entering the latter.  Without timely rains the water table can start dropping very fast from this point forward.
