First I let it ripen on my desk, then I took a bite, but only one. It had an interesting cluster of seeds in the middle.
To my knowledge I am not familiar with anyone who uses them. For one, you can't grow them in an orchard, as you do normal apples (or oranges) since they are located in the very deepest part of our swamp forest, in knee deep water, not too far from the tall cypress.
It was a pleasant trip — the mosquitoes weren't all that bad.
