What makes Florida unique from the rest of the United States?
Geographers will tell you it’s a peninsula.
Tourists have no geologic appreciation … |
Meteorologists may say it has only two seasons:
A summer wet season and a winter dry, compared to the rest of the contiguous states that have the traditional four.
Northerners of course will tell you it doesn’t have a winter.
But then again couldn’t we say the same for the American Southwest, too?

Only Florida can claim a Gondwanan birth.
