Didn’t see any rain clouds when we left the house.
And at the beach when we arrived the afternoon sun was shining down strong (from the west.)

Naples Beach from the southeast
Thus I was surprised when I looked back and there it was:
Followed by strong gusts, blackness and pelting rain.
Twenty minutes later we were back swimming:
Under a bright (remarkably cloudless) sky and in a waveless pond-like gulf.
|Calm waters after the storm passed|
Turning north I could still see that storm:
Fifty miles away over Ft Myers.
Typical summer afternoon at the beach.
