Is timing everything?
When it comes to summer vacations, Yes.
We couldn’t have been luckier in the way we hit Belgium’s 3 week annual supply of summer weather. The natives there were in shock: “Not in a hundred years has it ever been this hot or so dry for so long.”
By the end of our stay the weather had taken a turn towards clouds, cold, and rain. I for one had had my fill and was ready to go.
The icing on a good vacation is that itch you get to return.
After three weeks in Belgium and 12 hours in an airplane to get back, Florida never felt or looked better:
