How to: Hold on to our rains

Big rain days bring a bounty of rain …

Sometimes too much.

South Florida averages five BRDs per year.
We only had three in each of the past two years.

But only because we lack storage capacity.

The result is that water sometimes needlessly spills to tide.

The solution: Championing ways to slow down and store water where those opportunities, both big and small, lie.
