Local thistle honey?

Here’s a double whammy:

Two bees collecting nectar in a prickly thistle flower.

As weedy as it looks:

Cirsium horridulum is actually a native plant.

(If you read the scientific name out loud phonetically you’ll understand in an instant how it got named. Or if you’re a glutton for punishment, simply step on one with bare feet and you’ll learn the hard way instead.)

Local honey by the way is natural way to combat the symptoms of allergies …

Or so I’ve read.

Orange blossom and palmetto honey
are on prominent display in the local farmer’s market …

I just haven’t run across any thistle honey yet.
