How much has is soaked in so far?

Answer: The swamp’s signature cypress feature, its domes, are brimming with water.  That means the prairies are starting to get soggy, too.  It varies from one swamp enclave to the next, but the trend is clear: The swamp is on the rise.

Watch for the swamp to continue its rise.

As for when it will peak, that also varies but it’s usually late summer or early fall.
