The Big Cypress Swamp can usually count on 10 inches of rain between Memorial Day and the Fourth of July.
This year we beat that by 50 percent.
Next wet season mile marker is Labor Day.
Normally by then, The Big Cypress gets 27 inches of its 43 inch summer total.
