My comments disappeared in the middle of writing, odd. I was saying that I read you everyday, but have to disagree with the notion that humans evolved to fear swamps. Northern Europeans fear swamps, and made great efforts to drain them, but Florida's natives lived in and adjacent to swamps for thousands of years, quite successfully. You are right, the swamps should fear us. They need protection and preservation. They are our rainforests.
