Everyone associates October …

With the end of south Florida’s rainy season.

And it’s true:

Usually by Columbus Day the afternoon rains are done.

But don’t forget that October accounts for 20 percent of the hurricane-strength storms that make landfall in south Florida. Wilma you may remember didn’t strike until October 24th.
