Rain or shine, high or low water, the boardwalk at Blair Audubon Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary is totally accessible – and with bloomings in 2010 from March through November, it has been a magnificent season for watching my ghost orchid – mine, since it first bloomed on my birthday in 2007 and continues to bloom at the same time each year 🙂 I consider it my own birthday gift, my obsession.
