Even if it’s a shell of its former self.

The good news is the meddlesome melaleuca forest that surrounded it has been cut down.

Natural vegetation has grown back in its place.

The bad news is that the building.

Well, in a nutshell, it looks like a disgrace.

Some old timers if they squint really hard they can still see Joe Lord’s old place.

That’s maleleuca in the background by the way.

A rehabilitated station would make the restoration complete.
