Shades of soggy

September is traditionally south Florida’s wettest month,

But water’s have yet to rise really high this year.

This chart summarizes parchedness levels across the Everglades and Big Cypress.  Red arrows indicate current levels, the dark gray arrow a month ago, the light gray arrow a year ago and the dotted black line the long-term median for September 9th.

Not that it isn’t soggy out there.

The rainy season still has a 4-5 weeks left.
