Thanks for your comments. I’ve always been fascinated by old mills and water works. The Roman aqueducts always captivated my attention in my youth. Water already is a very contentious issues, and figures in largely in a number of transboundary disputes. In the case of Eden Mill, it’s an example of adjacent states working well together. But that’s not all that surprising considering their nick names: the old line state (MD) and the land of brotherly love (PA).
