All I’ve been hearing is how high it is in the Everglades,
But current stage in two of the three conservation areas are much lower than last year.

| The above chart shows current water depths in select parts of the Everglades relative to a month ago, a year ago, and the long-term normal for September 15th. WCA1 and 2 are significantly lower than the same time a year ago. Water depths in WCA3A are still the deepest part of the system (as usual), but have dropped down a half foot over the past month. |
Even current regulatory stage in WCA3A has dropped back to normal.
Its current depth now matches mid September of last year.
Granted that normal in WCA3A is still deep (see chart above).
