We had a little dry spell a few weeks ago, but since then we've been having at least some showers a couple of times a week. Just in time, too, because the lawn is finally greening up–coming out of dormancy–and I don't have to water the few veggies I have planted too often. My new trees, the cypress and swamp chestnut oak, are settling into their new home without a lot of fuss from me. Rain sure is a timesaver!
