April cold fronts are the best:

Cool air for a morning and a few bonus days of dry air.

Hot and humid season usually starts
towards the end of May

But most of all its that bittersweet knowledge in April that we are on our last watch for what could be our final dose of continental air before the long hot and humid summer wet season begins …

Thus explaining why the last bite always tastes best.
