Speaking of the L28 …
Here’s a couple of photos of it from bottom to top.
It starts along the Tamiami Trail at the S12A.
About 10 miles in there’s the S344.
You know your getting close to the end when you hit the three “breaks” in the Tieback (below is one of them).
Until finally, 14 miles up, you hit its northern terminus.
Granted, it’s sort of anti-climatic (and unscenic).
But don’t forget,
It’s what’s on the sides
of this levee (see below) that matters …
